Expanded PTFE Tapes
Product description
Self-moulding tape gasket made of 100% PTFE. The profile is extruded and expanded in one direction in order to increase the mechanical properties of the material. Due to the material properties, the tape guarantees high chemical resistance with the exception of alkaline substances. The tape is quick and easy to apply and has low stock holding costs. Operating temperatures range from -240°C up to 270°C. Performance is guaranteed up to a maximum temperature of 310°C and a maximum pressure of 200 bar.

Application:
They are usually applied in flanged couplings, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, applications where a seal is needed to compensate for coupling imperfections.
