High-performance static or dynamic seals characterised by a virgin or filled PTFE liner and energized by a spring. The greater the pressure, the greater the spring thrust on the PTFE liner towards the seat walls, this creates an excellent sealing system. Lip-seal energized seals can operate in severe situations with high temperatures and pressures, chemical aggression and low friction co-efficients. They guarantee sealing in temperatures from cryogenic to 300°C. The springs in the seals guarantee sealing and meet the most demanding safety and performance specifications and comply with FDA and NORSOK regulations. The gaskets can be made of different materials: mPTFE, PTFE + glass 25%, PTFE + LCP 10%, Carbographite 25% and PEEK. The springs in the seals can be made of ENGILOY or AISI 301 depending on requirements.
