Product description
Guide rings are used as guiding elements for rods and pistons in hydraulics and pneumatics. They are used to prevent metal-to-metal contact between moving parts. They guarantee low coefficient of friction and no stick-slip, even in the presence of lateral forces. Guide strips can be made of: synthetic fibre impregnated with phenolic resin and PTFE, technopolymers, graphite-filled PTFE and bronze-filled PTFE.
