Solid flat metal seals are used in applications where, due to high temperatures and pressures, soft material seals are not applicable. Metal seals prove reliable at both low temperatures (down to -200°C) and high temperatures (over 600°C), as well as at very high pressures.

Application:
They are mainly used at very high temperatures and pressures for hydraulic and pneumatic fittings, motors, nuts and bolts, flanges, generator sets and cogenerators.
Notice: The operating temperature and pressure limits do not apply simultaneously, they depend on various factors and can only be indicated for guidance purposes
